The Raven's Nest

Art

Artwork that supports artists.

We represent painters, printmakers, carvers, and sculptors. Much of the art in the shop has been purchased directly from the artist themselves — meaning money in their pocket immediately, no waiting for the sales team to do their job. We have a strong focus on Coast Salish and Inuit art.

Each piece is labeled with the artist's name. Native makers have their tribal affiliation on the label as well.

What you'll find

On representation

A few words on Native art.

We're not a Native-owned shop, and we don't take that lightly. The Native artists we represent are folks we've worked with — many of them for decades. We label their pieces with their name and tribal affiliation, and we do our best to share the story behind the work.

We've written more on this — including how the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 shapes who can call their work Native — in our FAQ.

In the cases now

Coming online soon.

We're photographing the cases and getting our inventory online piece by piece. In the meantime, come see what's here in person — or ask about a specific piece.

Meet the artists.

Read the bios of the artists we represent — many work across more than one medium, and a single artist's name is often the best way in.
