The Raven's Nest

Art

Art, direct from the makers.

We represent painters, printmakers, carvers, and sculptors. Much of our contemporary art is purchased direct from the artists themselves, and recently we've been focused on a curated selection of prints from Coast Salish and Inuit artists.

Each piece is labeled with the artist's name. Native art is labeled with tribal affiliation when the artist has a tribal card.

What you'll find

On representation

A few words on Native art.

We're not a Native-owned shop, and we don't take that lightly. The Native artists we represent are folks we've worked with — many of them for decades. We label their pieces with their name and tribal affiliation, and we do our best to share the story behind the work.

We've written more on this — including how the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 shapes who can call their work Native — in our FAQ.

In the cases now

Coming online soon.

We're photographing the cases and getting our inventory online over the next few weeks. In the meantime, come see what's here in person — or ask about a specific piece.

Meet the artists.

Read the bios of the artists we represent — many work across more than one medium, and a single artist's name is often the best way in.
