The Raven's Nest

Where to eat

Our Pike Market food recommendations.

Best fish & chips
Pike Place Brewery has great fish & chips — and you can upgrade your fries to fried pickles, a great accompaniment. Take an immediate right out our door and walk down the stairs to the Atrium Kitchen; head south down the hallway and you'll find the brewery less than 100 yards down.
Favorite NW eatery
For a quick bite of Northwest seafood, The Market Grill is an iconic Pike Place sit-down for fresh grilled fish and other tasty bites — just under 200 yards down the Market, across from Pure Food Fish.
Food with a view
For a nice sit-down meal, Aerlume is a refined Northwest eatery with a sweeping view of Puget Sound, at the foot of the Market just past Victor Steinbrueck Park. For a burger and a beer, Old Stove toward sunset can't be beat — indoor and outdoor seating with lovely views of the Olympics on a clear day, just before Victor Steinbrueck Park.
Best coffee in the area
Conrad loves Pike St. Coffee, just down the stairs on Western Ave — the most consistent, high-quality pull of espresso in the Market.
Joel's recommendation
The sandwiches at DeLaurenti are all great — can't miss. Joel's favorite is The Grinder, Conrad recommends The Club, and Madison recommends the Taccino.
Conrad's recommendation
Just around the corner from Raven's Nest is Pasta Casalinga, a lovely handmade-pasta eatery. Fresh pastas are made daily and the menu rotates regularly, with much of the produce sourced throughout the Market. One of the best bites around.
Madison's recommendation
Just below Raven's Nest on the walkway down to Western Ave is Lonely Siren, a Portuguese tapas bar. Casual and comfortable — a great spot for a cocktail or a bottle of wine and some snacks as the bustle of the Market winds down. Open six days a week, 3pm to midnight.
